Harlan's journey is marked by significant achievements, including being the winner of the prestigious Pow Wow Pitch, which recognizes Indigenous entrepreneurs for their innovation and offers grant money along with business expertise. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Harlan is an accomplished public speaker, engaging with Indigenous youth across various platforms to encourage them to achieve their dreams. Beyond his work with Smudge The Blades Apparel, Harlan has extensive experience in the industrial sector, serving as a CSU Process Operator at North West Redwater Partnership since October 2016, and previously, as a Process/Panel Operator at Chemtrade and Teck Resources Limited. This diverse background equips Harlan with a deep understanding of both the corporate and entrepreneurial landscapes, making him a versatile and insightful advisor.
